Hi Jason,
I'm glad you used the pictures I sent. They were the right ones. Did you see the one of the black & white of the old barn? That was Mom, Dad, your Moma, Bunny and Carroll, I think my Moma was in it too. That was when they moved to Arkansas for a while. I'll check for more later. You must have some of Bunny in you. I like the doggy obstical course. He used to have one, even a home made tread mill for them. Tell you a good one on Bunny, he had a calf he had been taking care of. Bottle feeding it, it must have aspirated, but it died on him and he went out there and did mouth to mouth on it. He really liked that calf, humorous, but true. Well gotta go for now. I had to sign up to reply, maybe I'll have time to work on a site of my own one day. Great job on yours. Take care, I have really enjoyed this. Tell everyone hello.
Love,
Cindy

January 19 CES2009I wished I had more time to see what all is going on with the CES 2009 stuff but life has been busy lately. I briefly read through Marcus’s blog and I really like the idea that Dell is adding Windows Live along with Windows Vista pc’s. I’m really curious to see how Windows plans on integrating Windows Live into Windows 7. I want to see more of this face identification stuff and the tags. I have to admit I was disappointed to see after spending time tagging people that the same feature was not uploaded on the photos in my windows Live site. The tags are at the bottom of the screen but when you move over a person with your mouse the tag does not pop up like it does in the Photo Gallery. Then I would have said wow, that’s cool. Anyway, we’ll see where it takes us. I quit reading an d playing around with the windows live stuff in October when I found out I was losing my job due to the wonderful economy. The rest of 2008 after that was a very tough time for me. I started scrambling to find another job. I almost had to go to Warsaw, IN for a job. I added a map just incase you wanted to look for your self. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad place. It’s just that I wanted to be back closer to my friends and family in Memphis. So, I ended up getting a job back with my old company and group that I left three years ago.The company in IN was a better (finically) than my old company but I just knew I wouldn't be as happy so once again I took another chance to come back. I think things will work out though. We have a lot of work to do in the group and will be very busy this year. I just hope the economy picks back up so that I can keep this one. If not, I guess I’ll be calling the company in IN after all. :) October 03 Sharing photo’s with Windows Live Spaces
My first big blog was about my grandparents and their house when I was a kid and I showed it to a lot of my family and they really loved it. After doing that I visited my aunt and uncle who’s health is starting to go down and I wanted to be able to save our old family pictures and share them with the rest of the family. Well, what better way to do that than with Windows Live Spaces! My cousins were nice enough to let me borrow their mothers old family pictures and I spent WEEKS scanning them into my computer. During this time the new Windows Live Beta Releases came out and I upgraded my Photo Gallery to help me organize all of my photo’s by using tags and this also made it so much more easy to up load all of the pictures to my Windows Live Space site. I know it sounds crazy, but after 2 and a half albums of photos, I have over 600 pictures. I was able to select 500 of them and just hit the After I e-mailed my cousins and informed them of the pictures being out on my Windows Live site and they were download them all at once, I felt it really showed the power of this site. Now, the software is great and I’m really excited about what Microsoft is doing but there are a few things that I thought of that I felt would have made this better: I LOVE I LOVE
September 25 Spaces Maps: Windows Live gadgetI often go out to the Windows Live gadget web site a lot to look around and see what new things I can add to my page. I came across the Spaces Maps a few months ago and at first I thought it was for showing others where you have traveled. That type of map is something I have always wanted and have started to see on Panoramio but I never really got into it much because I wanted to be able to share it more and my Windows Live Spaces is a great format for that. So, when I came across this gadget I thought This map is to show what areas of the world people live in that look at your Windows Live Spaces page, which is another great idea. I love to see how this little guy from Tennessee can share thoughts and ideas and pictures and what ever with anyone around the world that wants to see into my little world. So, after running across this gadget again on Jeff’s site, I played around with it more and learned more about it. I came across the blog “Hack MSN Spaces:Map your Visitors with spaces maps” that finally explained more about the map. I like this idea and I think the Windows Live developers can do a lot with this gadget in the future. September 11 Challenge: vacationI didn't realize this challenge was posted until I was looking at the Windows Live ID challenge. I have to admit, September is not a good month for me to travel. But, I'm taking a week off in October to go visit an old friend in Los Angeles. We was always together when we lived in Memphis and I always told him I was going to see him a lot once he moved there, but as always everyday life gets in the way. Finally we planned it out and he will be able to take off work and we are going to go "star stalking" (not in a bad way), lol. I just realized while writing this that I went with some friends camping during Labor day weekend. We went to a camp site just north of Knoxville, TN. We got a late start and didn't get there till about 10:30 that night. It was real fun putting up the ten in the dark. But, I was able to take my dog Jo and she loved having the freedom to run around and play. I still have another week or two to take before the end of the year but so far I don't have any thing planned. Maybe I'll read through the other blogs to get some ideas. Have fun everyone!
